Agricultural products such as chickpeas, cotton, and wheat have likely maintained steady demand, influenced by global trade patterns and seasonal factors. Additionally, minerals and metals, including aluminum and scrap metal, remained significant exports, particularly as global demand for these materials fluctuated

The total exports from India to Queensland decreased by 10.40% from 0.928 (U$ billion) in 2023 to 0.832 (U$ billion) in 2024. Queensland's imports from India span various industries, reflecting a dynamic trade relationship. Key exports include jewellery made from precious metals, showcasing India's renowned craftsmanship, along with off-highway dumpers and passenger motor vehicles. Pharmaceuticals, particularly medicaments excluding antibiotics and hormones, highlight India's strong pharmaceutical sector. The trade in worked diamonds further reinforces India’s dominance in the gemstone market. Other notable Indian exports include new pneumatic tyres, reaction engine parts, refined petroleum oils, and women's textile dresses. This diverse mix underscores India's role as a key supplier across multiple sectors, from heavy machinery and automotive to energy and textiles.
